I have a nice ranger with 2 nice work beastmaster builds. One of them, you basically do nothing, in the other you fight. The better fighting one is called Bunny Thumper. Search it on PvX Wiki.

Essentially, a Beastmaster is a 'fun' or 'gimmick' build. Pets smiply suck too hard to seriously compare with Broad Head Arrow, Splinter Volley or Cripshot.

So if anyone knows some good Beastmaster builds and/or have some tricks & tips for new beastmaster, please post them here.

The 'best' beastmaster builds run a weapon mastery alongside their pet - they use attack buffs from the BM lines and the pet is, essentially, supplementary damage to the ranger.
[skill]barbed spear[/skill][skill]disrupting throw[/skill][skill]disrupting lunge[/skill][skill]poisonous bite[/skill][skill]heal as one[/skill][skill]remedy signet[/skill][skill]charm animal[/skill][skill]resurrection signet[/skill]
.... I think
12 spear
10+1+1 Beast
8+1 expertise
A lot of degen and disruption.
[skill]hammer bash[/skill][skill]crushing blow[/skill][skill]bestial mauling[/skill][skill]rampage as one[/skill][skill]comfort animal[/skill][skill]charm animal[/skill][skill]resurrection signet[/skill] and some other skill
12 hammer
10+1+1 beast
8+1 expertise
C-space stuff, kill stuff, make sure to have a zealous hammer for the needed energy (RaO is horribly expensive)

okay... you can make good BM builds without going interrupting... or being a bunny thumper either for that matter.
I've never had problems making some that work very well... Two words: Be Creative! (or you can always pm me, I might have one lingering around in my templates)
